The
role
of
Central public sector enterprises
in
promoting
regional development, employment generation,
skill
building, amelioration
of
living conditions

government
for

privatisation.
In

for
collection

and
cross

from 199 respondents. Data have been statistically treated
using appropriate measures.
The
results indicate that these
enterprises
carefu.lly
design their training and development
programmes after taking into consideration actual needs
of
their human resources.
