RTI application:

  1. The appellant filed an RTI application on 27.12.2010 seeking information pertaining to recruitment process.

  2. The PIO responded on 19.01.2011. The appellant filed a second appeal on 29.11.2011 with the Commission.

  3. The appellant and the respondent both participated in the video conferencing.

  4. The appellant referred to his RTI application dated 27.07.2010 and stated that he is yet to receive a response from the respondent. The appellant stated that he had sought information about the particulars of the candidates who were seeking recruitment in different categories from the respondent organization and various related issues.

  5. The respondent stated that this matter is an old one that had come up earlier before the respondent but on account of the procedural shortcomings in the application and the nonpayment of the prescribed fee as per rules, the respondent did not consider it and that the appellant was also accordingly informed about it.
