Indian Corporate Law Service (Amendment) Rules, 2017
G.S.R. 523(E).-- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Indian Corporate Law Service Rules, 2015, namely:--
1. Short title and commencement.-
(1) These rules may be called the Indian Corporate Law Service (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Corporate Law Service Rules, 2015 (herein after referred to as the Principal rules), in rule 4, -
(a) in sub-rule (1), for the words "Scales of Pay (Pay Band and Grade Pay)", the words "Level in the Pay Matrix or pay scale" shall be substituted;
(b) in sub-rule (4) for the words "pay scales", the words "Level in the Pay Matrix or pay scale" shall be substituted.
3. In the Principal rules, in rule 7, -
(a) in sub-rule (1), for the words and figures "carrying a specific grade pay in Pay Band 3 or Pay Band 4 or Higher Administrative Grade", the words and figures" in Level 11 to 15 in the Pay Matrix or pay scale" shall be substituted;
(b) in sub-rule (2) for the words "grade pay", the words "Level in the Pay Matrix or pay scale" shall be substituted;
(c) in sub-rule (2) and (3) for the words "pay scale", at both the places they occur, the words "Level in the Pay Matrix or pay scale" shall be substituted.
4. In the Principal rules, in Schedule-I,-
(a) in the heading, for the words "Scale of pay", the words "Level in the Pay Matrix or pay scale" shall be substituted;
(b) in the table below the heading, in column 2, for the words ''Grade and Scale'', the words "Level in the Pay Matrix or pay scale" shall be substituted.
5. In the Principal rules, in Schedule-I, in the table below the heading, in column 2, -
(a) in serial number (1), for the letters, figures and words "Rs. 67,000-annual increment @ 3%-79,000", the words, figures and letters "Level 15 in pay matrix `1,82,200-2,24,100" shall be substituted;
(b) in serial number (2), for the letters, figures and words "PB-4, Rs. 37,400-67,000 plus grade pay Rs.10,000", the words, figures and letters "Level 14 in pay matrix `1,44,200-2,18,200" shall be substituted;
(c) in serial number (3), for the letters, figures and words "PB-4, Rs. 37,400-67,000 plus grade pay Rs.8,700", the words, figures and letters "Level 13 in pay matrix `1,18,500-2,14,100" shall be substituted;
