The
16th
issue
of
Jadavpur
Journal
of
International
Relations
presents
as
before
a
mixed
harvest
of
intellectual
contributions.
These
are
divided
into
full-fledged
articles
and
research
notes,
and
the
con
t
ributions
in
this
number
come
mostly
from
young
scholars.
This
volume
addresses
a
variety
of
themes-
the
knotty
issue
of
self-determination,
Indian
perceptions
of
EU
foreign
policy,
the
emerging
India-
Pakistan
equation
in
Afghanistan
in
the
wake
US
withdrawal
slated
for 2014,
flourishing
sex
tourism
in
the
shadow
of
globalization,
and
the
role
of
NGOs
as
a
supplement
to
official
developmental
efforts-
which,
we
believe,
have
the
potential
to
trigger
off
lively
academic
arguments.
However,
despite
our
best
efforts,
it
was
not
possible
to
make
the
volume
error-free
for
which
the
Board
humbly
accepts
all
responsibility
.
