  1. Present appeal is directed against the order dated 06.03.2014, of learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Una, whereby the complaint of the appellant, which he filed against the respondents, has been ordered to be returned for lack of territorial jurisdiction. Appellant purchased a vehicle at Mandi from respondent No. 1. According to the appellant, the documents, which were supplied to him, indicate different amounts of money, as the value of the vehicle, because of which the Registering Authority did not register the vehicle. It was also alleged that insurance cover note, which was supplied to him, bore a date prior to the date of issuance of the date of gate pass and because of this reason also, the Registering Authority, Una, refused to register the vehicle.

  2. Learned District Forum has held that the vehicle was purchased at Mandi. The documents, which have inconsistencies and discrepancies, were also issued at Mandi and, hence, the District Forum at Una, does not have the jurisdiction. It was also observed that the respondents do not have any...
