FACTS

1. The matter is heard today dated 11.3.2011. The Appellant is present alongwith his father Shri Gopi Chand. The Factory is represented by Shri Ramji Gupta, JWM.

2. The matter, in short, is that the Appellant had appeared in National Trade Apprentice Examination (NTAE) 50th batch in 2009 with Roll No. 102200202880. However, his result was withheld for the reason that the computer did not accept the above mentioned Roll number. During the hearing, Shri Gupta submits that the actual Roll No. allotted to the Appellant was 102327202880 as reflected in attendance sheet, and therefore, the computer did not process the Appellant''s answer script.

3. On the other hand, the Appellant produces duplicate Admit Card wherein the Roll No. allotted to him is 102200202880. It is, thus, evident that the Appellant was allotted the above mentioned Roll No. and if the computer did not process the answer script, the Appellant cannot be held responsible for it.
