Challenge in this revision is to the order dated 30.3.2010 of State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Panaji - Goa partly allowing appeal and setting aside the order dated 4.6.2009 of a District Forum and directing the petitioners / opposite parties to jointly and severally hand over possession of Flat No. S-4 in the Building, Vailankini Apartments complete in all respects and with all amenities as per the agreement dated 3.2.1997 subject to the respondent''s paying the balance consideration and other dues. Petitioners were further jointly and severally directed to pay Rs.50,000/- as compensation to the respondent.

Both the parties entered into an agreement dated 3.2.97. Under this agreement, the respondent agreed to purchase from the petitioners flat bearing no. S-4 admeasuring 84 sq. mts. on the 2nd floor for a consideration of Rs.5,46,000/-. Possession of the flat was to be delivered within 22 months. Amount of Rs.3,85,231/- was paid as on 19.2.98 by the respondent to the petitioners.
