The Commission has received a petition, dated 22/02/2013 (Diary No.: 114254/2013) from Shri Darshan Singh (Delhi), stating that he/she has received no reply/information from the concerned PIO in respect of his/her RTI application of dated 03/01/2013 filed with the PIO(HQ), Directorate of Education, Old Sectt., Delhi. A copy of the complaint and the RTI application are enclosed. It is observed that the Complainant did not have an opportunity to go to the Appellate Authority and has directly approached the Commission with his complaint. In exercise of powers vested under Section 18(1) of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, the Commission directs the Appellate Authority to enquire into the allegations made by the Complainant and to pass an appropriate order with a view to ensuring that the desired information is provided to the Complainant, at...
