1. The Commission has received an appeal petition, dated 18/02/2013 from Shri Aseem Takyar (Gurgaon). Stating that he/she has received no reply/information from the concerned CPIO in respect his/her RTI-application of 21/09/2012 filed with the PIO, New Delhi Municipal Corporation. The 1st Appeal filed thereafter before the First Appellate Authority of Public Authority has not been adjudicated upon by the First Appellate Authority. A copy of the complaint and the RTI application are enclosed. In exercise of powers vested under Section 18(1) of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, the Commission directs the Appellate Authority to enquire into the allegations made by the Appellant and to pass an appropriate order with a view to ensuring that the desired information is provided to the Appellant, at the earliest.
