S.O. 87(E).-- Whereas, the School of Planning and Architecture Act, 2014 ( 37 of 2014) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) came into force on 22nd day of January, 2015;

And, whereas, sub-section (1) of section 26 of the said Act provides for the constitution of such provident or pension fund or provide insurance scheme by the School for the benefit of its employees in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes;

And, whereas, clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 37 of the said Act provides for making of rules relating to the manner and the conditions for providing provident fund and pension fund or insurance scheme under sub-section (1) of section 26;

And, whereas, the following difficulty has arisen in giving effect to the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 26 of the said Act that clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 37 has become improper and out of context and that the provident fund or pension fund or insurance scheme is to be prescribed by the Statutes and not by the rules.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 40 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby makes the following Order to remove the aforesaid difficulty, namely:--
