G.S.R. 28(E): In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (a) and (c) of sub-section 2 of Section 155 of the Sashastra Seema Bal Act, 2007 (53 of 2007), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Sashastra Seema Bal Group 'A' Combatised (General Duty) Officers Recruitment Rules, 2004, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Sashastra Seema Bal Group 'A' Combatised (General Duty) Officers Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2010.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Schedule of the Sashastra Seema Bal Group 'A' Combatised (General Duty) Officers Recruitment Rules, 2004, against serial number 4 relating to the post of Commandant (General Duty):-

(i) In the entries under column 4, for the letters and figures "Rs. 14300-400-18300.", the letters, figures and words, "PB-4, Rs. 37400-67000 plus Grade Pay Rs. 8700", shall be substituted;

(ii) In the entries under column 11, for "by deputation," the figures and words, "100 per cent by promotion failing which by deputation/absorption or re-employment" shall be substituted;

(iii) In column 12, for the entries under Deputation the following shall be substituted:-

"Deputation/absorption:-

By deputation of officers of Indian Police Service or from the Central Reserve Police Force or Central Industrial Security Force or Border Security Force or Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force or Assam Rifles holding equivalent post or State Police Officers holding post of...
