J U D G M E N T (ORAL)

  1. Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR 653/2018 dated 22.11.2018 registered at Police Station Mukherjee and consequent proceedings arising therefrom.

  2. Notice issued.

  3. Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and counsel respondent no.3 and with the consent of the counsel for the parties, present petition is taken up for final disposal.

  4. The petitioner no.1 and respondent no.3 got married on 01.12.2017 per Hindu rites and rituals. Due to extreme incompatibilities between petitioners and respondent no.3, they started living separately

  5. The petitioner no.1 and respondent no.3 with the intervention of their well wishers and relatives have entered into an amicable settlement memorandum of understanding dated 03.01.2019 and settled all disputes amicably.

  6. The total settlement amount is ₹7,50,000/-(Rupees (Seven Lakhs Fifty Thousand only). It is submitted that the respondent no. 3 has received an amount of ₹5 lakhs (Rupees Five Lakhs only). A demand bearing No.000337 dated 22.10.2019 for the balance amount of ₹2,50,000/ (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifity Thousand ) is handed over to the respondent no. today in the Court.
