Odisha Technical Education and Training Service (Amendment) Rules, 2017

No.2689-- SDTE-PDE-I-Poly.-0007/2016/SDTE.-- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Odisha is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Odisha Technical Education and Training Service Rules, 1985, namely:--

1. (1) These rules may be called the Odisha Technical Education and Training Service (Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Odisha Gazette.

2. In the Odisha Technical Education and Training Service Rules, 1985, for sub-rule (2) of rule 5 the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:--

"(2) Candidates having requisite qualifications as prescribed in Schedule-''A'' or such qualification as may be specified by the Government for other posts created after the commencement of these rules shall be recruited on the basis of the results of written examination and interview conducted by the Commission.

(2-a) The Syllabus, standard and the Scheme of the Examination shall be as prepared by the Commission in consultation with the Government from time to time."
