Circular No NSCCL/CM/C&S/426 dated June 30, 2009 issued by National Securities Clearing Corporation Limited (NSCCL) to the Clearing Members of NSCCL is enclosed. All Trading Members of the Exchange who are also the Clearing Members of the Clearing Corporation are required to comply with the said Circular and any modifications thereto as may be issued by the Clearing Corporation from time to time. Non-compliance with the said Circular will be treated as breach of the Rules, Bye-Laws and Regulations of the Exchange. The Clearing Corporation will monitor the compliance and take suitable action for non - compliance.

Sub: Revised list of Approved Securities and Approved Banks
This is further to our circular ref no: NSCC/CM/C&S/424 (download no. NSE/CMPT/12480) dated May 29, 2009 regarding approved securities towards liquid assets in Capital Market Segment and list of approved banks for issuance of Bank Guarantees / Fixed Deposit Receipts in the Capital Market Segment.
The revised list of approved securities as given in Annexure I, II & III and the list of approved banks for issuance of Bank Guarantees/ Fixed Deposit Receipts as given in Annexure IV for Capital Market Segment shall be effective from July 01, 2009.
Haircut for the securities in Annexure I & Annexure II would be equivalent to the respective VaR of the security. The total number of Approved Securities is 396 and the total number of Approved Banks is 58.
Members are requested to take note of above.
