Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Tenth Amendment Rules, 2010

G.S.R.434 (E):- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of West Bengal hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2007, namely:--

  1. (i) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Tenth Amendment Rules, 2010.

    (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

  2. In the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 2007:--

    In "Scheduled Il-A posts carrying pay above the lime scale of pay of the Indian Administrative Service under the State Governments", in the table, for the entry 'West Bengal' occurring in the first column and corresponding entries in the second column, the following shall be substituted namely:

    Chief Secretary to Government Rs. 80,000 (fixed)
    Additional Chief Secretary and Commissioner General, Land Reforms Rs. 80,000 (fixed)
    Additional Chief Secretary, Forest Department Rs. 80,000 (fixed)
    Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department Rs. 80,000 (fixed)
    Principal Secretary to the Government HAG Scale Rs. 67000-79000 (annual Incre ment @ 3%)
    Commissioner of Division PB-4+GPRs. 10,000
    Secretary/Special Secretary to Government PB-4+GPRs. 10,000
    Land Reforms Commissioner PB-4+GPRs. 10,000
    Director, Administrative Training Institute PB-4+GPRs. 10,000

    (b) In "Schedule Il-Part B" Posts carrying pay hi the senior scale of the Indian Administrative Service under the State Governments including posts carrying special pay in addition to pay, for the entries occurring under 'West Bengal', the following shall be substituted, namely:--

    Director of Land Records and Survey

    Director of Public Vehicles Department

    Joint Secretary to Government

    Director of Cottage and Small Scale Industries

    Director of Evaluation, Development and Planning Department

    Director of Rationing

    Director of District Distribution Procurement...
