The 15th issue of the Jadavpur Journal of International
Relations, as in the previous years, presents a diverse crop of
academic contributions. The wide-ranging themes include
both high politics and low politics issues; cover regional
concerns together with functioning of international
organizations; and comprise theoretically-inclined pieces as
well as more empirically-oriernted inquiries. And the pool of
contributors consisting of senior (and not-so-senior) faculty
members, research scholars as well as senior students
represents a perceptible blend of youth and experience. In
order to ensure quality production, all the entries have been
subjected to strict editorial scrutiny. We take this opportunity
to thank all who have extended their hearty cooperation to the
editorial team towards bringing out the current issue. It is
difficult of course despite our best efforts to make the volume
error-free for which the editorial board accepts every
responsibility. We however sincerely hope that the present
issue like its predecessors will be able to draw critical acclaim
from the scholarly community.
