The respondent herein sent a letter dated 05/12/2014 to the Registry of Intellectual Property Appellate Board stating that they are not interested to pursue the registration of the trade mark application dated 10/12/1998 in application No. 831778 under trade mark "ROYAL PIPERS" under class 33. The latest status report through website reveals that the above said impugned trade mark was renewed upto 10/12/2018. It is pertinent to note that the respondent has also sent a withdrawal letter of their impugned trade mark dated 05/12/2014 and a decision is supposed to be taken by the Registrar of Trade Marks, Chennai.
