  1. The present appeal is being heard in relation to point no. (3) & (9) of the RTI application dated 17.5.2012 filed before Ministry of Rural Development. The Ministry transferred point no. (3) & (9) of the RTI application to National Institute of Rural Development vide letter dated 31.5.2012. The CPIO, NIRD vide letter dated 3.6.2012 provided point wise reply to the appellant. At point no. (3) the appellant sought to know "NIRD gave written commitment to the MoRD through their letter No. Vig./VC-1/2010/101 dated 10.5.2011 that further action be taken only after the disposal of appeal filed by NIRD. In view of this, whether any action is initiated on the implementation of the Hon'ble Tribunal Order dated 31.8.2010. If so, please inform If so, please inform me the action taken by NIRD on this matter so far." The CPIO replied that "the question has been asked in the form of opinion and no comments can be offered with reference to opinion expressed by RTI applicant on this office letter No. Vig./VC-1/2010/101 dated 10.5.2011.As regards to present status, the order passed by Hon'ble High Court of AP in WP No. 27947 of 2010 of 2010 is being examined administratively from relevant legal aspects for taking further action with the approval of competent authority."

    With regard to point no. (9) the appellant sought to know "in my representation dated 10.2.2012, I requested the hon'ble Union Minister for Rural Development and Chairman, Executive Council of NIRD to dispose my appeal petition dated 9.2.2011.
