Appellant through Mr. P. Banerjee, the Ld. Advocate and Respondent No. 2 through Mr. B. Mondal, the Ld. Advocate are present. The application for condonation of delay is taken up for hearing. Heard the Ld. Advocate for both sides. It is submitted on behalf of the Appellant - Petitioner that there is no intentional laches or lacuna on the part of the Appellant in preferring the present appeal which is out of time by about 570 days. According to Ld. Advocate the information was obtained at a belated stage and thereafter much time was consumed for the purpose of obtaining instruction from the Divisional Office. However, considering the fact that the Appellant - Petitioner is an Insurance Company having all India standing, the application for condonation of delay may kindly be allowed. The Ld. Advocate for the Respondent while opposing such submission has submitted before us that the Appellant - Petitioner has utterly failed to substantiate its case in support of application for condonation of delay as there is no tangible reason or ground made...
