This order shall dispose of the aforementioned three revision petitions. As the facts and the law point involved is the same, they are being disposed of by this common order. We are taking the facts from Revision Petition No.1253/2011.

We agree with the view taken by the fora below that under Section 2(1)(d)(i) of the Consumer Protection Act, a person who buys any goods or avails of the services of another person for commercial activity, is excluded from the purview of the Act. On the facts of the case, fora below have held that the petitioner was indulging in the activity of buying and selling the shares for commercial purpose and not for earning his livelihood.
