I have been assaulted twice. Once by an angry man whose brother and nephew had just been found murdered and then by an angry son after his father committed suicide.

I have been followed home twice. I can't even count the number of times I have faced sexual innuendos, most not said in jest; and been sexually harassed once while covering crime as a reporter. I am a woman and welcome to my world.
