According to European Automobile Remanufactures Association (APRA), 20 million units have been remanufactured in 2005 and they plan to raise it to 30 million units annually by 2015. Former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda is in more trouble. The January 15 Enforcement Directorate (ED) complaint-equivalent of a chargesheet-filed against his former associate Binod Kumar Sinha provides details of 51 investments worth Rs 915.25 crore to support the charge that Sinha helped Koda launder crores of rupees. The last entry in the ED list is "deposits in cash arranged by Binod Sinha" in Mumbai's Zaveri Bazaar branch of a nationalised bank between 2006 and 2008. These deposits alone add up to Rs 650 crore. The ED is yet to file a chargesheet against Koda, but the one against Sinha could nail him too.
